Let Yourself Be Cared For

Professional Cuddle Therapy in Hull

A professional, consent-led space to slow down, receive and enjoy safe, platonic human connection.

What is

Cuddle Therapy?

Cuddle Therapy, also known as Platonic Touch Therapy, is dedicated time for safe, consensual, non-sexual human connection.

A session might include cuddling, hugs, holding hands, resting against one another, quiet companionship, conversation or simply sharing space together.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you'd like. We can explore what feels comfortable together, and you can say yes, no, pause, change your mind or ask for something different at any time.

Physical touch isn't required, and there's no particular amount or type of cuddling you're expected to have.

There is nothing you need to achieve.

You can talk.

Explore what feels comfortable.

Or simply enjoy being cared for for a while.

Why Touch?

Touch is one of our earliest forms of connection.

Its effects aren't only emotional. Research into consensual, supportive touch is finding fascinating links with how we experience stress, connection and physical wellbeing.

Ease Stress

Helping the body soften

Supportive touch has been linked with reduced stress and changes in cortisol, helping create those moments where the body can begin to settle

Feel Connected

The warmth of human contact

Affectionate touch can support feelings of closeness and connection and is associated with oxytocin... one of the body's important systems involved in bonding, social connection and stress regulation.

Support Wellbeing

Care that can be felt

Research into touch has found benefits across physical and emotional wellbeing, including pain, anxiety, mood, blood pressure and other measures of health.

Feel Nourished

Regular connection matters

The benefits of touch don't necessarily have to belong to one lovely moment. Research suggests that repeated touch experiences may offer greater benefits than simply making a single experience longer.

Touch Is Personal

Not everybody experiences touch in the same way, and more isn't automatically better.

Context, consent, relationship and individual preference matter.

Meet Your

Cuddle Professional

Hi, I'm Carly...

I've spent more than 17 years working with people and their bodies, across healthcare, nutrition, movement, coaching and breathwork.

Again and again, I've seen how easy it can be to become very good at carrying on... and how unfamiliar it can feel to slow down, notice what we need and allow ourselves to receive care.

My own curiosity about platonic touch eventually led me to experience professional cuddle spaces for myself, before training with Cuddle Professionals International.

What I found was something beautifully simple: a space where closeness could be explored with clear boundaries, open communication and no pressure for it to mean anything more..

That's what I now offer at Still Space Hull: a professional, welcoming environment where consent, choice and communication come first, and where you don't have to earn being cared for.
